As an Assistant Coach for the Lax Vegas Lacrosse Team, I’ve had the unique privilege of returning to a program that played a formative role in my own lacrosse journey. Having been a player for Lax Vegas during my high school years, I understand the values and standards the team strives for, and I’m proud to now give back by helping the next generation of athletes develop their skills and passion for the game.
In my role as an assistant coach, I collaborate with the coaching staff to design practice sessions focused on skill development, tactical strategy, and team cohesion. Drawing from my own experience as a player, I provide individualized coaching to help athletes refine both basic and advanced techniques, while also fostering a deep understanding of game strategies. I work closely with the head coach to implement in-game tactics, making real-time adjustments to keep our team competitive and effective.
A major focus of my coaching philosophy is building a positive, team-oriented culture. I encourage players to embrace a growth mindset, support each other, and develop mental toughness, both on and off the field. As a former player, I understand how critical these qualities are for success, and I aim to instill them in every athlete I work with.

In addition to coaching, I helped manage and run the team’s Instagram account, creating content that showcased the players, promoted upcoming games, and highlighted team achievements. By crafting engaging visuals, posting regular updates, and interacting with followers, I played a key role in growing the team’s online presence and fostering a sense of community among athletes, families, and fans. This experience allowed me to merge my passion for both lacrosse and digital media, while strengthening the team’s connection to its supporters.
Coaching for Lax Vegas has been a rewarding full-circle experience. It’s not just about teaching lacrosse; it’s about mentoring athletes, sharing the lessons I learned as a player, and continuing the legacy of the program that helped shape me as both an athlete and a person.
