During the time that I worked as an editor for my college’s newspaper, I also worked as a reporter. Each week I would pitch story ideas to the other editors and reporters and do research to write each of these stories.
In Oct. 2020, my feature story about how the west coast wildfires affected students on the campus of Westminster College was published on the organization’s website, and in the printed edition of the newspaper. In the semester I worked as a reporter, I had 11 stories published online and in the print editions.
