Athletic Event Ads
For my internship, I designed promotions for athletic events that happened each week on campus. These ads would go up on our athletic department’s social media accounts. I looked at other college sports’ social media and professional sports’ pages to get inspiration for our ad. I found that highlighting individual athletes, or a group of players together alongside text was a popular way to design them.
If prospective student athletes see that players get posted on our social media, it can help us reach our ultimate goal of recruiting more athletes to come to our school. I recreated some of their posts, using Westminster branding. I created these ads using Adobe Illustrator.
