As the Digital Producer on the editorial team at my university’s newspaper, The Forum, I designed over 200 original visuals, graphics, and illustrations for both print and social media platforms, elevating the publication’s visual appeal and ensuring consistent branding across all channels. My work helped to communicate complex stories in a visually engaging way, capturing the attention of our audience and enhancing the overall reader experience.
In collaboration with the Production Manager, I played a pivotal role in shaping the layout for the newspaper’s 14 print editions, ensuring that each issue was both visually striking and easy to navigate. This involved a deep understanding of design principles and attention to detail, balancing the needs of both editorial and design to create a cohesive, professional publication.
I also worked closely with fellow editors to produce a wide range of content, including written articles, audio features, video segments, and multimedia visuals. This collaborative approach allowed us to create dynamic, multi-faceted stories that resonated with our readers across various platforms.
