As both a player and the social media manager for the Westminster Women’s Lacrosse team, I had the opportunity to combine my passion for the sport with my skills in content creation and digital marketing. Over the course of my involvement, I successfully ran the team’s Instagram account, developing a consistent brand identity and engaging the lacrosse community both locally and nationally.
My role included creating dynamic visual content, such as behind-the-scenes team moments, player spotlights, and event promotion. I use a variety of tools to design graphics and ensure posts are both visually appealing and on-brand with the team’s culture. Additionally, I managed all aspects of the account, from regular posting schedules to responding to followers and engaging with fans.

Balancing my responsibilities as a player and content creator has sharpened my time management and communication skills, while deepening my understanding of how to build an active, engaged online community. Through strategic social media initiatives, I’ve increased our team’s visibility, fostered a sense of camaraderie among players and fans, and showcased the unique spirit of our team.
In addition to growing our social media presence, I’ve also collaborated with coaches and teammates to ensure that our online presence accurately reflects the hard work, dedication, and competitive edge of the Westminster Women’s Lacrosse program.
Overall, this experience has allowed me to strengthen my content creation abilities while building a strong, authentic connection between the team and its supporters.
